West Jakarta Mayor, Anas Efendi wants related institutions to repair water channels in Tambora and Jelambar Urban Villages because it usually causes inundation.

He said drainage system in Tambora Urban Village is not running well and has incomplete slope. It triggers inundation when rain falls.
"Water channel is not functioned well and cause inundation," he expressed, Wednesday (1/17).
Channels on Jalan Akordion Kelapa Gading CleanedSimilar condition also happened in Jelambar Urban Village, especially when tidal flood comes.
"No rain, but water from Angke river flows into settlement in Jelambar," he added.
He mentioned, that condition is worse because of no personnel in the location or small gate that connects Angke river to settlement's water channel.
